With the summer coming in hot, it's the time that many of the golfing communities try to do their bit to raise some funds for their preferred charities.
We for one, absolutely love it.
Is there a better sport than golf for rallying the troops in the height of summer in a bid to raise some much needed serious cash for local charities?
The well known 72-hole golf challenges like The Longest Day in Golf by Macmillan and The Big Golf Race by Prostate Cancer UK. Even the smaller charity golf days organised by one of the local golf club members. And everything in between.
We're here for all of it.
Since the launch of Spike Golf in January 2022, we've tried our very best to get involved in as many of your charity days as possible. We've donated thousands of bamboo golf tees for participating golfers, and done what we can to donate boxes of Mixed Bamboo Tees and other golf products as raffle prizes for your winners.
We're not going to lie, sometimes there are too many requests and we're just not yet at the scale where we can get involved in them all. But where we can, we do.
Do you have a charity golf day planned?
If you're planning a charity golf day this summer then feel free to ping us a message. We'd love to try and do our bit.
If you're thinking of organising one and feel like you need some guidance, then the British Heart Foundation have written a really helpful guide on 'How to organise a golf fundraising event'.
Or on the flip side, if you're a golfer looking to take part in a charity golf day, then check out this helpful list on Golf Empire of Charity Open Golf Events that you can enter.
